Art can tell us about cultural pasts and presents. Art can tell a story. Art is a way to
share our memories. Come join our students in a celebration of cultures from around the
United States and the World in their student created art galleries. All of the student
created artwork visually tells a story about a culture focusing on family life, dress, shelter,
food, jobs and transportation. Students have collaborated with their own classmates and
with far flung classrooms to make this virtual museum possible. By visiting each of the
galleries you can compare your own culture with others across time and distance. Inspiration
for this project came from a visit to the Seattle Asian Art Museum. So start by clicking on
"View Larger Map" at the bottom of the the Bing Map link below to see where all of our
schools are located. You can learn more about how we are alike and how we are different
through the eyes of our youth by viewing all of the virtual school galleries.
Just click on the page links on the left.
